Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections LPN/LVN to provide general and emergency nursing care to adults and juveniles in custody, while upholding facility security standards at the JBLM, WA site.

Qualified applicants hold a current LPN/LVN license in Washington, have at least one year of corrections experience, CPR certification if applicable, a valid health certificate, and are 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Requires current LPN/LVN license in Washington state.
• Minimum 1 year experience in corrections.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care to adults and juveniles in custody.
• Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
• Work in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the facility.

Job description

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse/ LicensedVocational Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and juvenilesin custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in theMedical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintainingfacility security standards.

• Possesses a current LPN/LVN license in state practicing
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections required
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
