Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an LPN/LVN to work in corrections facilities, delivering general and emergency nursing care daily while upholding security standards.

Required are a valid LPN/LVN license, at least one year in corrections, CPR if applicable, and compliance with all related health regulations; candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LPN or LVN in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of corrections experience.
• CPR certification when applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements; at least 18 years old.

Responsabilités

• Provide general and emergency nursing care in a corrections setting.
• Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
• Interact daily with adults and juveniles in custody as part of medical care.

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse/ LicensedVocational Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and juvenilesin custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in theMedical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintainingfacility security standards.

• Possesses a current LPN/LVN license in state practicing
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections required
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
