Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide general and emergency nursing care within a corrections facility on travel assignments across Missouri. The role requires maintaining security protocols while delivering high-quality nursing services to adults and juveniles in custody.

The ideal candidate will hold an active LPN/LVN license, have at least one year of corrections experience, and maintain current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of corrections experience.
• CPR certification current, if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care in the medical and ambulatory units of the corrections facility.
• Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
• Engage in close, daily contact with adults and juveniles in custody.

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse/ LicensedVocational Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and juvenilesin custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in theMedical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintainingfacility security standards.

• Possesses a current LPN/LVN license in state practicing
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections required
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
