Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Corrections LPN/LVN to provide general and emergency nursing care in custody facilities in Minneapolis, Oakdale, and St. Paul, MN.

This travel position requires compliance with security standards and the ability to work in the Medical and Ambulatory sections. The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in the state, at least one year of corrections experience, CPR if applicable, and a valid health certificate.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections required.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care to adults in custody within Medical and Ambulatory sections.
• Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
• Collaborate with administrative and custody staff to coordinate patient care.

Job description

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse/ LicensedVocational Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and juveniles in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.

• Possesses a current LPN/LVN license in state practicing
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections required
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
