Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections LPN/LVN for travel assignments in Kentucky. The role involves daily in-person care for adults and juveniles in custody, with emphasis on general and emergency nursing within medical and ambulatory units.

Security standards must be maintained throughout. Required are a state-licensed LPN/LVN, at least one year in corrections, CPR if applicable, and health clearance per contract or regulation.

Qualifications

• Possesses a current LPN/LVN license in state practicing.
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections required.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides general and emergency nursing care to adults and juveniles in custody.
• Maintains facility security standards while delivering care.
• Works in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the Corrections Facility.

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse/ LicensedVocational Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and juvenilesin custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in theMedical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintainingfacility security standards.
