Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift in Raleigh, NC. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document in the EMR to support high-quality care in a correctional healthcare setting.

Qualifications include an active LPN license (Washington state) and 1 year of LPN experience; BLS and immunizations are required or in process. Competitive pay with travel stipends available.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Washington license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred.
• BLS certification and immunization records required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs; report changes promptly.
• Assist with assessments and individualized care plans.
• Document care in the EMR accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies and infection control protocols.
