Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts in Asheville, NC. Local pay is $43.00 per hour (W2). Travel pay options include hourly travel and lodging/mileage stipends for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NC LPN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with assessments and implement care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and related nursing tasks.
• Document care in EMR accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment; follow infection control policies.

Licensed Practical Nurse– Asheville, North Carolina

Local Pay: $ 43.00 /hour - W2

Travel Pay:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $18.11, Stipend (Lodging $700.00 + M&I $329.00) = $1,029.00,

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• Night Shift
• 12 hour shifts

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as a LPN
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, )
