Job summary
Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Corrections LPN for a travel assignment in Marion, NC. The nurse will provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of a Corrections Facility, while upholding security standards.
The role requires an active LPN license, CPR, and the ability to meet federal, state, and local requirements. At least 18 years old with about one year of corrections experience is preferred; 40-hour weeks with competitive weekly pay.
Qualifications
- Current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state.
- Minimum of one year experience in corrections preferred.
- CPR certification, TB screening per contract/state requirements.
- Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the Corrections Facility.
- Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
- Interact closely with adults and children in custody on a daily basis.

- Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state

- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
