Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse for travel assignments across multiple Pennsylvania facilities. You will provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections while upholding facility security standards.

Must hold an applicable state LPN license and CPR, with at least 1 year of corrections experience preferred. Travel positions offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits; positions are located in Montrose, Pittsburgh, and

• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

Responsibilities

• Provide general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory sections of the Corrections Facility.
• Maintain facility security standards while delivering care.
• Work with adults and children in custody on a daily basis.

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatorysection of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility securitystandards.

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in theapplicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
