Job summary

You will supervise Security Supervisors, Corrections Officers, and inmates, coordinate schedules, enforce DCJS standards, and contribute to performance management. The role requires DCJS certification, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current DCJS Certification.
• Considerable experience in corrections or law enforcement.
• Experience supervising corrections staff.
• Experience planning, scheduling, and/or organizing work including timekeeping and duty roster management.
• Experience reviewing records and reports and applying post orders.
• Knowledge of security/administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of Security Supervisors, Corrections Officers, and Inmates.
• Supervise and monitor staff on assigned shift to ensure a safe, secure environment.
• Lead and counsel staff; coordinate work schedules and duty rosters.
• Contribute to performance management and conduct inspections to maintain security and order.
• Interact with management, staff, visitors, and inmates to maintain orderly operations.
