Qualifications

• Three (3) years of progressively responsible corrections experience working directly with offenders, including at least one year in a supervisory role (Sergeant or higher).
• Combination of education and experience equal to three years in corrections is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Schedules correctional staff for all shifts to ensure security and safety.
• Enforces DOC policies, IA procedures, and supervises staff.
• Makes determinations on disciplinary actions in policy and post orders.
• Maintains security by inspecting posts and reviewing officer reports.
• Prepares logs, reports, and performance documents.
• Conducts rounds, briefings, and staff trainings.
