Job summary

Ideal candidates have three years of corrections experience with a supervisory background or a combination of related education and experience.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of progressively responsible corrections experience with direct offender work and supervisory duties.
• Knowledge of Use of Force Policy and defensive tactics.
• Ability to plan, supervise, and coordinate correctional staff.

Responsibilities

• Schedule correctional staff for all shifts to maintain facility security.
• Supervise officers and enforce DOC policies and procedures.
• Coordinate offender management and incident response.
• Maintain logs, review reports, and approve leave requests.
• Direct offender counts and facility security operations.
