Job summary

Aramark is seeking full-time Corrections Food Service Workers and Supervisors to join our dedicated Food Services Team. You will supervise inmates in a correctional kitchen, train workers, and coordinate operations under a manager.

Expect early‑morning shifts, weekend coverage, and a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. Prior food service experience is required, corrections experience is strongly preferred, and you’ll be integral to meal production, sanitation, and adherence to all

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production according to safety policies and department requirements.
• Ensure safe storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure menu compliance.
• Maintain a sanitary department per health codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory records.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel and mentor growth.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Recommend equipment replacements as needed.
• Be able to work on short notice and cover shifts.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate with colleagues.
