Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a jail/correctional facility.

You will prepare and serve food following menus and recipes, ensuring nutritional needs are met while maintaining safety standards. You report to a Food Service Director and work on-site, focusing on staff training, shift management, and adapting to changes in a correctional environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18+ years of age required.
• Preferred: institutional food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen staff during prep and service.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and follow department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook food per recipes and portion to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for long periods.
• Stand and be on your feet for much of the shift.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
