Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Worker to operate inside the Chesapeake City Jail. You will prepare and serve meals, maintain a clean workstation, and follow menus and safety requirements.

The role reports to the Food Service Director and is onsite within a correctional facility. Ideal candidates are passionate about food and service, with a basic understanding of food handling rules, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.
• Passionate about food and service and able to work in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of quality foods following menus and instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation; assist with cleaning duties.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook according to recipes.
• Follow all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks; be adaptable and work well in a team.
