Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve meals according to menus and recipes, using a variety of utensils and equipment, and report to a Food Service Director on site.

The ideal candidate is passionate about food and service, understands food handling regulations, and works well in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team in kitchen during prep and service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook and portion to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing.
• Be on your feet for most of the shift.
• Other duties as needed.
