Job summary

Trinity Services Group operates on-site within a jail/correctional facility, overseeing inmate labor and food service operations. The Food Service Supervisor role requires guiding a kitchen team, preparing and serving meals, and ensuring adherence to recipes and health standards.

Ideal candidates have a passion for food service, knowledge of food handling regulations, and a collaborative, adaptable mindset. Weekend/holiday availability is required for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to schedules and department procedures.
• Use utensils and equipment to cook and portion food per recipes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods; physical demands apply.
