Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, 18+.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in a jail/correctional facility.
• Passionate about food and service.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to procedures.
• Cook food using recipes and utensils to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
