Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve meals inside Chesapeake City Jail. You will work onsite, report to the Food Service Director, and follow menus and safety regulations in a correctional setting.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and being at least 18. Prior institutional food service experience is preferred. Benefits include DailyPay, health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in cooking quality foods per menu and recipes.
• Keep a clean, safe workstation and manage trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Serve food at planned meal times following procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook according to recipes.
• Follow sanitation and storage regulations for food safety.
