Job summary

Summit, a brand of Elior North America, seeks an experienced cook for the Kent City Corrections Facility in Kent, WA. You will join a fast-paced kitchen staff and prepare high-quality meals, focusing on accuracy, portion control and safe handling.

In this role you will manage food preparation, creative presentation, proper storage and adherence to recipes. Prior scratch cooking and customer service experience are required, with a food handler certification being a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience is required.
