Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook to join our Kearny, NE kitchen in the correctional division. You will work with a motivated team to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting, focusing on portion control, food safety, and presentation.

This onsite role offers opportunities for growth within Elior North America’s correctional segment. The ideal candidate has at least one year of relevant cooking experience, strong knowledge of culinary methods, and the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume setting with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools and identify food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
