Job summary

Quality Correctional Care is seeking a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse to provide frontline medical and mental health services in Cass County Jail. You will administer medications, conduct intakes, perform 14-day physicals, manage chronic conditions, and educate patients on health concerns.

This role requires CPR certification, stamina to stand long hours, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Open day or night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license to practice in Indiana.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to assess patients and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to follow detention facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients within the jail.
• Administer medications and perform routine patient care tasks.
• Conduct 14-day physicals and manage chronic conditions.
• Provide patient education on health concerns.
• Respond to medical emergencies and guide medical staff.
• Maintain pharmacology knowledge and cost awareness.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
