Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated food service director to lead the Corrections dining program at Curry County Dentention Center, NM. You will manage a team and oversee all food service operations to ensure meals are served on time.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, maintaining safety standards, budgeting, and coordinating with the district manager. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required; ServSafe/HACCP certifications are a plus. This is a full-time onsite position.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with client-focused service.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department, including purchasing ingredients and meeting targets.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service details.
• Address customer service needs.
