Zusammenfassung

State of West Virginia is seeking a lead worker to oversee the daily operations of a state correctional facility’s Central Receiving, Laundry, Post Office, Barbershop or other designated areas.

You will ensure staff and inmates comply with Division of Corrections policies, ACA standards, and applicable laws, while serving as a lead worker and coordinating materials and equipment for the assigned areas.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the area of assignment, one year of which must have been in a lead worker capacity.
• Coursework from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of experience.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the daily operations of the designated functional areas (Central Receiving, Laundry, Post Office, Barbershop or similar).
• Ensure staff and inmates follow DOC policies, procedures, ACA standards, and applicable laws.
• Act as lead worker and manage acquisition and inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment for the area.
