West Virginia seeks a Corrections Program Specialist, Reentry Coordinator at the Eastern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility. The role leads coordination with case managers to ensure effective reentry planning and accurate scheduling of parole hearings, while tracking offenders awaiting plans and assisting with accelerated parole applications.

The position may involve supervisory duties depending on assignment and requires collaboration across corrections and social services to support

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; substitutions possible for related training/experience.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent experience in corrections, probation/parole, law enforcement, social work or related field.
• Substitution: graduate coursework may substitute for experience on a 15 semester hours per year basis.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with Correctional Case Managers to support reentry planning.
• Schedule parole hearings and ensure compliance with reentry procedures.
• Track offenders awaiting approved plans and assist with out-of-state home plans.
• Evaluate, complete and process accelerated parole applications.

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, corrections, social work or related behavioral or social science field
