Job summary

State Correctional Facility positions provide oversight of daily operations in Central Receiving, Laundry, Post Office, Barbershop or similar areas, ensuring staff and inmates follow DOC policies, ACA standards, and applicable laws. They serve as lead workers, guiding and training others while performing similar duties.

Responsibilities include scheduling, reviewing work, and maintaining supply inventories, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and quality of operations within the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and four years of related experience.
• One year of lead worker or supervisory experience required.
• College hours may substitute for up to four years of experience.
• All job duties must be detailed in the Work History or resumé.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the designated facility area and staff.
