Job summary

The Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) seeks a Shift Coordinator to oversee Central Control and Resident Advisors, ensuring daily operations, safety, security, and sanitation of the facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will promote compliance with ACA and PREA standards while maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Typing 20 wpm and proficient computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in corrections; one year supervisory experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and oral/written communication; must function on a team; valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Central Control Resident Advisors and Float Resident Advisors.
• Manage daily operations, safety, security, and sanitation of the facility.
• Ensure schedules are followed and residents comply with rules; coordinate with Operations Manager.
• Assist with facility investigations, problem-solving and program initiatives; ensure compliance with ACA/DRC/PREA standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and proper grounds maintenance.
