Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and completion of an approved correctional officer trainee program.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a custody setting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and directs a security force in housing and custodial services on an assigned shift.
• Serves as full-line supervisor.
• Coordinates security for vocational, education/treatment, activity-based programs.
• Receives, reviews and approves Roster Master sheets for shift assignments.
• Participates in clinical, professional, administrative meetings.
• Prepares and submits Wardens monthly activity reports, performance evaluations, unusual incidents, discipline referrals and revised procedures.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope.
