Job summary

Elior in Pattonsburg, MO is seeking a dedicated Food Service Director for our corrections dining program. This onsite, full-time role oversees the entire food service department, guiding staff, budgeting, and compliance to ensure timely meals and safe operations.

You will lead hiring and training, enforce safety standards, manage inventory and spend, and collaborate with the district manager to align dining services with client needs. This is a non-exempt hourly position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• At least two years of coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with strong client focus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates.
• Ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department; purchase ingredients and monitor targets.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service aspects.
• Address customer service needs.
