The Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking an ADA compliance lead for Taycheedah Correctional Institution (TCI). The role directs ADA compliance efforts, coordinates facility-based monitoring, and provides technical assistance on ADA laws and regulations.

This position is responsible for a wide range of duties related to compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This position will lead, oversee, and coordinate the ADA compliance efforts and is the ADA expert and key resource at TCI. Specifically, this position coordinates and monitors facility-based compliance: provides technical assistance: investigates complaints related to compliance monitoring of ADA laws and regulations: and leads internal procedure development. This position conducts tasks in relationship to the goals and timelines established by the agency and the appointing authority. This position responds and coordinates general public records operations for Taycheedah Correctional Institution (TCI). Responsibilities include public records management.
This position is in pay schedule/range 07-04 with a starting rate of $21.70 - $35.76, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
