The Division of Adult Institutions is recruiting to fill a Corrections Administrative Specialist position, located at Taycheedah Correctional Institution in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
This position is responsible for a wide range of duties related to compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This position will lead, oversee, and coordinate the ADA compliance efforts and is the ADA expert and key resource at TCI. Specifically, this position coordinates and monitors facility-based compliance: provides technical assistance: investigates complaints related to compliance monitoring of ADA laws and regulations: and leads internal procedure development. This position conducts tasks in relationship to the goals and timelines established by the agency and the appointing authority. This position responds and coordinates general public records operations for Taycheedah Correctional Institution (TCI). Responsibilities include public records management
This position is in pay schedule/range 07-04 with a starting rate of $21.70 - $35.76, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the State Compensation Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required.
