Qualifications

• Experience in conducting investigations and handling incidents within a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a designated shift of Correctional Officers II’s in an adult institution; assigns staff and inspects areas for safety and order.
• Manages security, order, and discipline; coordinates staff and documents activities and incidents.
• Trains and evaluates staff; conducts preliminary investigations and prepares reports.
• Performs related administrative duties and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.
