Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Arizona Department of Corrections experience strongly preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience in a correctional setting required.
• Three years of experience working in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security/control activities and staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies.
• Respond to major unusual occurrences efficiently.
• Direct the work of other employees and conduct evaluations.
• Review disciplinary matters concerning staff and detainees.
