Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stand watch in halls or wall towers to control inmate movement.
• Supervise inmates on work details and conduct counts.
• Inspect quarters for safety and presence of contraband; search inmates/visitors.
• Maintain alertness and report disturbances; inspect security equipment.
• Explain rules and assist inmates with personal development and programs.
• Complete reports on progress, behavior, infractions, and incidents.
