Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Applicants must be 19 years of age or older
• BAT or Associate's degree or higher required during hiring process

Responsibilities

• Stands watch in halls or towers to control inmate movement
• Supervises groups of inmates on work details and checks in/out inmates
• Inspects quarters for safety and contraband
• Maintains alert and reports unusual conditions
• Completes reports on inmate behavior and incidents
• Explains rules and services to inmates and assists with personal and educational opportunities
