Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of facility.
• Two years of direct work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional setting while maintaining security requirements.
• Assist physician with sick call and minor procedures; refer other problems as needed.
• Ensure physician orders are followed and medications administered per formulary.
• Maintain progress notes and complete routine reports as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and coordinate Chronic Disease Clinic scheduling.
