NaphCare, Inc. is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Pima County Detention Center in Tucson, Arizona. You will work alongside correctional officers and medical staff to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population within a secure facility.

Responsibilities include rounds, developing care plans, handling emergencies, and maintaining medical records. Requires NP licensure in Arizona, DEA registration, BLS, and collaborative agreement with on-site physician.

Qualifications

• Advanced nursing education and licensure required.
• Board-certified NP preferred or board certification recognized.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Conduct physical examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions (asthma, hypertension, diabetes).
• Administer medications and provide patient instructions.
• Monitor vital signs and medical histories; document care.
• Triaging and coordinating services; ensure timely transport for emergencies.
