Job summary

NaphCare is actively hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our medical team in San Luis, Arizona, serving individuals in the Yuma - Arizona Department of Corrections. The positions offer competitive hourly pay and opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

Advanced nursing education required (Master's or Doctorate).
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with an unrestricted state license.
DEA registration and collaborative agreement with on-site Physician.
Active BLS/CPR certification (AHA).
Board certification by a recognized board per ABMS.

Responsibilities

Conduct exams, develop treatment plans, and monitor patients.
Manage acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes.
Administer medications and provide patient instructions.
Monitor vital signs and medical histories; document care.
Triage, assess needs, and coordinate services across teams.
Respond to emergencies and arrange timely transfers.
Educate on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
Maintain accurate medical records and care plans.
