Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Licensed Vocational Nurse program and Texas LVN license.
• No experience required; recent graduates with temporary permits considered.
• Current BLS-HP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Handle admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Review and, under supervision, modify the care plan.
• Observe and document patient status, proposed interventions and outcomes.
• Deliver nursing interventions aligned with the medical plan of care.
• Notify staff of changes in patient status and coordinate with the team.
• Follow physician orders and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures; adhere to infection control.
