Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen and coordinate meal production in a correctional facility in Missouri. You will train workers, assign tasks, and ensure sanitation and safety compliance per Aramark standards.

Role includes maintaining production logs, enforcing portions and dietary needs, and overseeing inventory and recipes. Starting pay is $17.50+ per hour with great benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines by reviewing production and temperature logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and adherence to Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in the use of Aramark recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain accurate daily population counts and review with staff.
• Adhere to security policies and ensure storage areas are secured.
