Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff inside a correctional facility in Salem, Virginia. You will prepare and serve meals following menus and instructions, and report to the Food Service Director. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Preferred institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during prep and service.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals as per recipes.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Be able to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
