Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff in a correctional facility. The role involves preparing and serving meals, training staff, and ensuring sanitary practices in food handling.

The position offers pay at $15.00/hour plus a $500 new hire bonus, with daily pay options and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time on-site role inside a jail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required (at least 18 years old).
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and/or team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Prepare, assist, or instruct inmates and team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the menu and work instructions.
• Ensure all food is stored properly and in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to planned meal schedules and department policies.
• Utilize utensils/equipment to cook, prepare and serve food per recipes and nutritional needs.
• Follow all food safety regulations.
• Train other food service workers.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Follow uniform policy and keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Stand for extended periods and be able to lift, bend, push, kneel and walk as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
