Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Must obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and log checks.
• Supervise inmates in food prep and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in use of recipes and proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure correct portions and dietary requirements.
• Manage inventory and requisition orders.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and security procedures.
• Oversee storage and handling of kitchen tools and PPE.
• Prepare and coordinate production schedules.
• Follow HACCP policies for food handling.
