Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, train staff, and coordinate production to meet daily meal plans. You will ensure sanitation and safety, following Aramark guidelines and HACCP standards. Shifts include 3AM–11AM and 11AM–7PM, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

The role requires the ability to obtain a food safety certification and the capacity to work in a correctional environment with adherence to security policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and policies.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Adhere to production guidelines and logs.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Train inmates and direct use of Aramark recipes.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Manage inventories and coordinate orders.
