Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Safety Certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and production of meals for inmates, ensuring nutritional standards and portion control.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate kitchen staff; assign tasks based on skills and needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate food usage and waste records.
• Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation for all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Manage meal distribution and coordination to meet dietary restrictions and timelines.
• Maintain documentation on production, staffing, inventory, and safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and collaborate with facility management.
