Job summary

The Summit Leavenworth, KS location is seeking an experienced cook to join a fast-paced correctional kitchen team, delivering high-quality, scratch-made meals in a secure environment. This onsite, part-time role offers meaningful work and growth within Elior North America’s Summit brand.

You’ll handle quality and portion control, food prep, creative plating, proper storage, and adherence to safety policies while supporting the kitchen staff and inmates with nutritious meals.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment and identify food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
