Summit is seeking an experienced cook for our Leavenworth, KS location in the Corrections division. You will join a fast-paced kitchen and prepare high-quality meals for inmates, focusing on portion control and presentation.

This onsite role requires a dedicated, detail-oriented professional who values safety and consistency. Focus on scratch cooking, safe handling, and teamwork within a motivated kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and identify/ differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
