Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook for our Leavenworth, KS location to join a fast-paced kitchen team within the Corrections division. You will prepare meals, ensure quality, and maintain high standards in a correctional facility setting.

The role requires at least one year of culinary experience, strong knowledge of cooking methods, and the ability to multitask under pressure while delivering excellent service to staff and inmates.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, quality establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools and distinguish food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
