Job summary

Summit in McMinnville, OR is seeking an experienced cook to join our correctional facility kitchen team. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, preparing meals with a focus on quality and presentation, and ensuring proper food handling and storage.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of high-volume, scratch cooking experience, strong culinary skills, and customer service experience. This role is onsite at the Yamhill County Corrections kitchen.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
