Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook for our McMinnville, OR correctional facility kitchen. You will work with a motivated team in a fast-paced environment, preparing high-quality meals for inmates and staff, with emphasis on portion control and presentation.

Must have at least one year of culinary experience in high-volume settings, knowledge of proper culinary methods, attention to detail, and customer service skills. We offer medical, vision, 401k and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and identify food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
